PRINTS
The photographs featured here are some of my most requested work and I’m excited to share them with you. These images reflect ongoing themes I return to, about place, memory, and the quiet tension between the built environment and the natural world. Each piece speaks to a broader reflection on how our surroundings are shaped, neglected, or transformed over time.
All photographs, printed exclusively at Martha Street Studios in Winnipeg, are archival inkjet prints on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm paper, ensuring exceptional quality and longevity. These are prints meant to last, both physically and in the ideas they hold.

Featured Photographs

Basketball Net in a Field of Snow, 2022
digital photograph, 14” x 11”
archival inkjet print CA$90
A lone basketball net stands in a field of snow, its silhouette etched against the fading blue of winter dusk. This piece explores themes of absence and persistence, where play and community once existed. In its stillness, it feels like a monument to all the games that once were.

No Sign of Convenience Store, 2021
digital photograph, 11” x 14”
archival inkjet print CA$90
This boarded-up 7-Eleven still had the lights on, casting a strange glow like it didn’t know it had been rendered obsolete. In Winnipeg’s North End, stores like this are disappearing, caught between the strain of urban inequality and profit-driven cutbacks. The photo touches on that, how something so familiar can quietly vanish, becoming just another fading landmark of everyday life.

Tree with Yellow Leaves at Night, 2022
digital photograph, 14” x 11”
archival inkjet print CA$90
I saw this tree glowing under an unseen light at night. Just a patch of yellow against the black sky. It was sitting in a little pocket of grass on a boulevard, not the kind of place you’d expect to find anything remarkable. But it was striking, like it had been waiting to be noticed.

Mail Box in Blizzard, 2013
digital photograph, 12” x 12”
archival inkjet print CA$75
This old rural mailbox stands firm in the middle of a snowstorm, with the horizon disappearing in the blowing snow. A modest monolith, a functional relic that holds its ground against the cold and the years. There’s something comforting about how weathered it is, still rooted in place. This simple scene brings to mind thoughts of isolation, routine, and how we stay connected even in the worst weather.

Empty Reflecting Pool, 2020
digital photograph, 12” x 12”
archival inkjet print CA$75
This pool is usually the backdrop for wedding photos and summer strolls. Now it’s drained, with just enough water left to reflect the pillars, the nearly bare trellis, and the heavy clouds above. Even empty, it seems to softly hold on to beauty.
Pretty View
series of digital photographs, 2024
This series of photos of the Winnipeg skyline, taken at various moments over the course of two months, began as a spontaneous response to the scenery in front of me. Moved by the ethereal quality of the light and the shifting hues of the sky, I felt compelled to capture these moments. Over time, I began to see them as a personal testament to the fleeting nature of beauty and existence.
This collection is offered as a complete set of eight 20” x 11” archival inkjet prints, with individual prints also available.

Persistent Resistance
Silkscreen Prints 2019 -2022
I’m proud to have been involved with a number of groups that advocate for social justice in Winnipeg over the past 15 years or so. Many have asked me to do design work for them. The objectives of those that took part in the 1919 Winnipeg General Strike resonate with the progressive organizations and ideas that the images in this collection represent. Although that strike was a milestone in many respects, it was not unique as an example of class struggle. The struggle has been going on for a very long time and it continues today.
This collection is offered as a complete set of six 10” x 11” hand-pulled silkscreen prints, with individual prints also available.
